[Issue] Jay Park Holds Fan Club Inauguration Ceremony With 3,000 Fans

Jay Park’s fan club and its members are now all official. 

Jay Park recently held an inauguration ceremony and fan meeting Welcome to JP World on November 4 at Seoul’s Sangmyung Art Center where his fan club, ‘Jay Effect’ went official and where the singer met with some 3,000 of some of his biggest fans. 

A vivid and lively opening video led to Jay Park appearing on stage where he kicked things off by performing Know Your Name and Up&Down. 

The fan meeting was officiated by comedian Kim Ki Soo as MC who shared how the two became friends and participated in a variety of activities including an ‘O’ and ‘X’ quiz game. 

In the ‘Ask JP’ corner, one fan asked Jay Park, ‘If you could be born again, whose face would you want?’ to which Jay Park replied, “David Beckham. I want to be born in the next life with a handsome and sexy face.” 

The meeting lasted for two hours as Jay Park revealed afterwards, “I’m currently working on my next album’s tracks. I’m really focusing on producing now so I’ll come out with a new album early next year.”

[Issue] Big Bang’s G-Dragon Gifts Parents with a Luxurious Inn

After making a lot of earnings with all of his self-composed songs, Big Bang’s G-Dragon didn’t keep it all to himself, but made sure to present his parents with something nice. 

Recently on online communities, pictures of a pension inn have been uploaded, saying that the inn belongs to G-Dragon’s parents as a gift from their son. 

The inn called ‘Dolce Vita, located in Pocheon, Gyeonggido, is known to have been a gift from G-Dragon and is stylishly designed just like the fashionista.

Each room inside is named after G-Dragon’s songs or other related keywords. Some of the names of these rooms include, ‘VIP,’ ‘Heaven,’ ‘Haru Haru,’ ‘This Love,’ ‘Crayon,’ and more. 

With the news of the G-Dragon inn spreading, the rooms have been filling up with Big Bang fans. It′s also said that G-Dragon′s puppies, Gaho and Jolie, can be spotted there from time to time. 

Seeing the photos of the beautiful guesthouse, netizens commented, “Is that a present or a movie set?” “If I have kids, I’m going to make sure they become artists,” and “How much is it to stay there one night?”

[K-pop] Ailee to begin promoting follow-up single

Ailee is looking to follow on the success of I’ll Show You with her follow-up single.

Ailee’s agency revealed on November 23 that the singer would conclude promotions for I’ll Show You at the end of the month. However, she will kick off promotions right away for another track off her Invitation mini album, the ballad song Evening Sky.

The single’s music video was already previously released and was made into a joint collaboration music video with scenes from Dakota Fanning’s new movie Now is Good

After the success of I’ll Show You, many are looking to see if Ailee will be able to continue her success particularly as she faces off Lee Hi once more and her new single as Lee Hi has surprised even Ailee by repeatedly coming out on top of her on the charts in their previous bout.

[Issue] Concert Posters for 2PM′s Junho and Nichkhun Released

2PM′s Junho and Nichkhun posed as the sexy boys they′re known to be in their new concert posters.

On November 10 and 11, Junho and Nichkhun′s posters for their upcoming tour concert were released.

Both are shown donning sleek black leather outfits with silver point accessories.

Nichkhun′s image was especially welcome as it officially indicates the end of his long hiatus. His slimmer lines and charismatic expressions seem to show his determination.

Since November 7, 2PM has been releasing the individual posters of each member for its upcoming concert tour What Time Is It?. The tour will kick off in Shanghai on November 17.

[Issue] Boyfriend Delays Release of New Album After Having to Discard 30,000 Copies

Boyfriend has hit a snag with its comeback.

On November 9, Starship Entertainment revealed Boyfriend’s first full-length album, Janus, which had been scheduled for release for the same day, would be delayed after an issue with the album′s packaging was discovered. 

The issue was big enough that the agency was forced to discard 30,000 copies of the new record and the agency apologized to fans while adding it had no choice, in order to ensure a top quality album for fans. 

Though the album itself has been delayed to a November 13 release, Boyfriend will hold its comeback stages on the various music show programs this weekend as scheduled

[TV] Ranking of miss A Members Looks by Foreigners Revealed

According to the eyes of foreigners in Korea, Suzy is the prettiest of them all.

Recently in a recording for MBC Music’s All The K-Pop, the show unveiled the results of a survey they had. In it, a total of 100 foreign exchange students at Yonsei University were asked to rank the looks of the miss A members. 

According to the results, Suzy came out in first and was followed by member Fei for second, Min in third and Jia in fourth. 

Suzy was said to be voted number one in the survey in overwhelming numbers and following the revealing of the results, Suzy thanked her foreign fans saying in English, “Hi Guys. Thank you, I love you guys.” 

While number three Min and number four Jia may have felt some pain – the two ended up receiving a 1 million won gift certificate as a consolation prize.

[K-pop] TVXQ′s Repackaged Album to Drop on November 26

TVXQ (DBSK) is making a return with a new repackaged album.

After finding success with its 11-track album, Catch Me, DBSK will be dropping its repackaged album, which will come with two new tracks on top of Catch Me’s original track list. 

Humanoids is described as a hybrid electronic song with a diverse range of rhythm patterns. The song’s lyrics contains a positive message encouraging the new generation to look and work towards a positive future and not to get caught up in the things of today.

Here I Stand is a dance song infused with dubstep with lyrics that reflect the longing one feels towards the person they love. 

The new tracks and the full repackaged album is set to drop at 12 p.m. (KST) on November 26 via online portal music sites such as Melon, Genie, Soribada and more. 

DBSK will next join its fellow SM Entertainment peers for their SMTown Live World Tour III at the Marina Bay Sands on November 23 in Singapore.
